Athens State Opens New Cybersecurity Lab

CyberLab Grand Opening

Today Athens State University celebrated the grand opening of its new CyberLab, a cutting-edge cybersecurity facility designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle the ever-evolving challenges of the digital world. The Alabama Legislature provided a $250,000 grant to help fund the lab, initiating an investment in the University’s cybersecurity education, 研究, and innovation.
